A KIND APPROACH TO SLEEP SUPPORT
where the science
and the human side
of parenting coexist
Feeling stuck between waiting it out and crying-it-out?
You don't have to choose between rest and connection.
My approach is responsive and attachment-centered, where real evidence meets real life. Because your needs matter just as much as your child's, and better rest is possible for both of you.
Rest and responsiveness were never meant to be at odds.
Every part of my approach is designed to honor both.
MY PHILOSOPHY
lead with nurture and sleep will follow
I believe nurture isn't something that gets traded away for rest, it's the piece that makes real rest possible.
When a child's cues are met with responsiveness instead of rigidity, they don't just sleep better in the short term, they build a foundation of trust that supports sleep for years to come.
This is why I never ask families to choose between meeting their child's needs and getting the rest they deserve. Both are possible, and both matter, at every stage.
RESPONSIVEHonoring your instincts and
your child’s cues, always.
EVIDENCE-BASEDGrounded in evidence,
shaped around your family.
RELATIONSHIP-CENTEREDRest, without ever compromising
what matters most.
SLEEP ISN’T THE WHOLE STORY
change begins with
understanding the full picture
When sleep feels hard, it’s natural to focus on what you can see: night wakings, bedtime struggles, early mornings, or naps that never seem to fall into place. But sleep challenges are rarely about sleep alone. They are often a sign that something deeper is asking to be understood. Together, we’ll explore your family’s unique story to understand what’s shaping sleep, what your child is communicating, and what support will truly fit.
-
Our biological systems influence how we sleep. We explore your child’s unique sleep biology, including their circadian rhythm, sleep pressure, individual sleep needs, genetics, and hormonal changes.
-
Physical factors impact comfort and rest. We consider anything that may be affecting your child's ability to feel well and sleep comfortably, including breathing, digestion, nutrition, illness, pain, allergies, and other health considerations.
-
A child's developing brain plays an important role in sleep. We look at developmental stages, temperament, sensory needs, emotional regulation, and how your child processes the world around them.
-
Sleep is deeply relational. We consider attachment, connection, co-regulation, caregiver wellbeing, family dynamics, and how relationships shape feelings of safety and rest.
-
Rest is shaped by more than what happens at bedtime. We consider movement, outdoor light, daily stimulation, schedules, childcare, screens, and finding the right balance between activity and rest.
-
Sleep is shaped by the world around it. We explore the sleep environment and daily rhythms, including light, sound, temperature, sleep location, nap patterns, and bedtime routines.
-
Patterns emerge through experience, connection, and routine. Together, we look at bedtime routines, sleep associations, nighttime patterns, and opportunities to make changes in ways that feel supportive and aligned.
-
Sleep does not happen in a vacuum. We consider the season of life your family is navigating, including transitions like travel, starting childcare, a new sibling, illness, holidays, developmental changes, parenting dynamics, and other shifts that may influence rest.
