HONEST ANSWERS TO
the questions keeping you up at night
the approach
-
Difficult naps. Hard bedtimes. Frequent waking. Split nights. Early mornings. These are real challenges, and I'm here to help you fix them.
Sleep training looks narrowly at the problem, often targeting it through non-responsive methods like controlled crying or crying it out. But it overlooks the root causes underneath, which is why so many families find themselves repeating the process again and again throughout early childhood.
A holistic approach to sleep coaching intentionally looks at the full picture: your child's temperament, biology, individual sleep needs, development, sensory world, nutrition, routines, and relationships. From there, we can identify the actual root cause of the challenge, and address that.
One quiets the symptom. The other resolves it, which is why it lasts.
You don't have to choose between good sleep and a relationship that feels good too.
-
No. Every part of my approach is responsive and attachment-centered. Your child's cues are never overridden to reach a sleep goal faster.
-
No. This isn't a rebranded version of the same old methods. It's a genuinely different approach, one that never asks you to ignore your child's needs or your parental instincts to get more sleep.
-
That's incredibly common, and it's not a sign you did something wrong. Many families come to me after trying approaches that didn't align with their values or their child’s needs. We'll build something that actually fits your family instead.
-
Yes. Every recommendation is grounded in real evidence and current research, not trends or guesswork.
is this for you?
-
Yes! I support families across the entire US, no matter your time zone. Support happens virtually, so wherever you are, you're not doing this alone. We can connect from your couch, your kitchen table, or wherever you happen to be that day.
-
From expecting parents preparing ahead of time, through the early years of infant and child sleep (birth to age 6), to parents and caregivers who need their own sleep support. Wherever you are in your sleep journey, there's a path here for you.
-
Yes! I bring years of experience supporting highly sensitive and neurodivergent individuals into every plan I build. Temperament and sensitivity are never treated as an afterthought here.
-
Not at all. The Kind Beginnings support package is built specifically for expecting parents who want to feel prepared, not overwhelmed, before their baby arrives.
-
Yes! The Rested Parents support package is built specifically for parents and caregivers who need support for their own sleep, not just guidance for their child.
-
Yes! Multiples, blended families, adoptive families, single parents, LGBTQ+ parents, foster families, and every other family structure and story, all are welcome here. Support is always shaped around your actual life, never a one-size-fits-all template. Reach out, and we'll talk through your specific situation.
what to expect
-
We start with a real conversation about your family, your child, and your goals. From there, I build a plan shaped around your child's temperament and your life, and I stay with you as it unfolds.
-
There's no rigid timeline here. Your child’s temperament, your own capacity, and your family's individual circumstances all play a role, which means every family moves at a different pace. Real change is built to last, not rushed or forced to hit a number on a chart. -
Every plan is highly personalized to your child, your goals, your family, and your real life, never a generic or one-size-fits-all template.
-
That's expected, and normal. Support continues as things evolve, you're never handed a plan and left to figure out the rest alone.
-
Support continues throughout your entire package, you're never left to implement a plan solo. For returning families, I also offer standalone coaching calls at a special rate, whenever you need a check-in down the road.
you’re not alone here
-
Never. This is a compassionate, judgment-free space. Whatever's been getting you through is valid, and it's never something to feel ashamed of. You know your child and family best, and that leads the way, always.
-
Not at all. Your family's values guide the plan, not a rulebook. Whatever matters most to you is part of the conversation from the start.
-
That's exactly why this approach exists. You won't be asked to overhaul your whole life, just take a few clear steps, with real support at every one of them.
-
I hear this more than you'd think, and yes, I understand. Not just in theory, but from years spent inside real family life, in the exhaustion, the second-guessing, the 3am moments no one else sees. You are not the only family who's ever felt this way, and you won't be carrying it alone here.
how we’ll work together
-
Everything is virtual, which means families anywhere in the U.S. can work with me, no matter where you live. It also means support fits into your real, actual life. You won't need to tidy up for a pop-in visit or rearrange your whole day around an appointment, we work around your family's rhythm, not the other way around.
-
Not at all! You're equipped with everything you need, and supported every step of the way. The difference is that you're the one making the changes, in your home, at your pace, with me right alongside you.
-
I understand that life doesn't pause, even when we're in the middle of important work. When something real comes up, we simply shift together, with as much flexibility as I can offer, and zero pressure to keep pace with anything but your family's actual reality.
