Thriving Community for Growing Families

Kind Parent Collective is a welcoming space for Portland area parents, partners, and caregivers of little ones (12 months & under) to connect, laugh, and learn together. Share real stories, celebrate wins (big and small), ask questions, and hear from local experts — all while building friendships with people who truly get the early parenting journey.

Meetup Details:

Fridays, 10:00AM - 12:00PM at Byenveni Baby 12665 SW Hall Blvd, Portland, OR 97223

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Nope — our weekly meetups are completely free to attend!

We want this to be an accessible, welcoming space for all parents and caregivers to connect, share, and feel supported. Just bring yourself (and your little one 12 months and under, if you’d like!) and come as you are.

  • You can absolutely drop in — no pressure at all! We do encourage signing up, though, so we can plan for space and keep you in the loop about any changes (like holiday closures, illness, or timing adjustments). It’s quick, simple, and helps us stay in touch.

  • Absolutely! Babies (12 months & under) are always welcome — this space is designed with you and your little one in mind. You’re free to feed, change, rock, or cuddle your baby at any time during the meetup.

  • Absolutely! We know how important it is to have your village close — parenting is not meant to be done alone. Partners, grandparents, and parent friends are all welcome to join. This space is about connection, learning, and community for everyone who’s part of your baby’s world.

  • The group is geared toward parents in the first year of parenthood, but all caregivers in the early years are welcome. It’s a space to connect, learn, and support one another — wherever you are in your journey.

  • Each week includes open conversation, shared experiences, and time for connection. Sometimes we’ll have local experts join us to share about topics that support parents in the first year (like feeding, sleep, postpartum wellness, etc).

  • Parking is available, but spots in the lot right outside the building are limited. Luckily, there’s usually plenty of free street parking nearby along SW Commercial Street — just a short walk to the entrance.

  • You’re not alone — that’s a very common feeling! This group is intentionally welcoming, relaxed, and full of real parents who get it. You can participate as much or as little as you’d like. You’ll be greeted with warmth and zero pressure.
